We fought together and we'll ride together
Legacy, it is a gift or an honor handed down through a family line. The Legacy Veterans MotorCycle Club have accepted and bear honorably the responsibility from our Viet Nam Veterans Motorcycle Club brothers. We have been entrusted to carry on the vision, principles, code of ethics, and traditions into generations to come. We remain a brotherhood of warriors.
The Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club was created by and is inseparable from the Viet Nam Vets Motorcycle Club. The goals of each club are of a singular purpose. All club members are advocates and activists toward veteran rights and related issues. We are not the VFW or the American Legion. The Legacy Vets MC Brothers are all active duty military or veterans that have entered the military after December, 1975. The Brothers are currently serving, or have served our country honorably. We are one Club with two patches.
We are the returning warriors from serving in the United States Military. Our club members share more than just common military experience, we embody a set of social codes, ethics, and values that set us apart from all other organizations.
We are against government infringements upon any citizens personal and civil liberty. We have been humiliated and ostracized for our patriotic services. We have been lied to and our government has denied medical services and reorientation benefits. All this has happened while we were sent to fight in foreign lands in defense of our nations founding principles of freedom and democracy. We are an organization founded to defend the rights of military veterans. We consider the values we fought for on foreign soils are much more important to us here in America. We are not a criminal organization. We do not involve our members in the issues or problems of any other motorcycle club.
